What this feature helps you do
Scheduled Payments: Track future commitments like rent cheques, loan instalments, school fees, and car insurance.
Subscriptions: Track recurring services such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Spotify, gym memberships, iCloud, and software tools.
Bills & Reminders: Receive timely notifications before payments are due so you can ensure your accounts have sufficient balance.
How to add Payments and Subscriptions
Adding a Scheduled Payment:
Click Scheduled Payments in the sidebar.
Tap + Add Payment.
Enter the title (e.g., "Apartment Rent Cheque"), amount, and due date.
Set the recurrence (One-time, Monthly, Quarterly, Yearly).
Choose your reminder timeframe (e.g., 3 days before or 7 days before).
Tap Save.
Adding a Subscription:
Click Subscriptions in the sidebar (or tap Add Subscription on the Dashboard).
Enter the service name (e.g., "Netflix"), billing amount (e.g., AED 45), and frequency (Monthly or Yearly).
Set the next renewal date and payment account.
Set your reminder preference to avoid surprise auto-renewals.
Tap Save Subscription.
Practical Examples
Quarterly Rent Cheque Reminder: You have an AED 15,000 rent cheque due on September 1st. You set a reminder for 5 days in advance so you can verify that your bank account has sufficient funds.
Annual Gym Renewal: You sign up for an annual gym membership of AED 2,200 renewing next July. You set a 7-day reminder so you can decide whether to renew or cancel in time.
Helpful Tips
One-tap recording: When a reminder triggers, tap Mark as Paid to automatically record the expense under Money Out.
Periodic audit: Check your Subscriptions list once a quarter to spot unused memberships and save money.
