What this feature helps you do
Visual Charts: View clean pie charts and bar graphs showing income vs. expenses, category breakdowns, and spending trends.
Time Comparisons: Compare your current pay period with previous months to see if your spending is rising or falling.
Smart AI Assistant: Ask natural questions in plain English or Arabic to get instant answers about your financial records.
AI History Audit: Review a complete log of all past voice commands, text inputs, and scanned receipts.
How to use Reports and the AI Assistant
Viewing Reports:
Click Reports in the sidebar.
Choose your timeframe: Current Month, Last Month, Current Pay Period, or a Custom Date Range.
Toggle between Income vs. Expenses and By Category.
Click on any category slice to see all underlying individual transactions.
Asking the Smart AI Assistant:
Click Smart AI Assistant under Tools (or tap Ask AI at the top of your dashboard).
Type or speak questions such as:
"How much did I spend on groceries this month?"
"What are my active subscriptions and their total monthly cost?"
"Show me all expenses tagged #DubaiTrip"
"What was my biggest expense last week?"
The AI scans your saved records and returns a concise, accurate summary.
Practical Examples
End-of-month review: You open Reports and notice that Dining Out made up 34% of your total monthly expenses (AED 2,800). This helps you set a lower dining budget for the upcoming pay period.
Quick invoice lookup: You need to check how much you paid your car mechanic in March. You ask Smart AI: "How much did I pay for car maintenance in March?" and get the exact figure in 2 seconds.
Helpful Tips
Export for records: Export your reports to CSV or PDF whenever you need records for official use or personal backups.
Grounded in your data: The Smart AI Assistant only answers using the records you have saved in Smart Pocket, keeping your insights accurate and private.
